Not there yet. I doubt that CD distribution has been given some serious thought allready.
I guess you may expect that sooner or later it will be, so the question is when. Unfortunately that doesn't depend just on ISI, but also on publishers.
SRPL Shader Pack v0.92 is now available for modders: announcements / discussion

Yeah ISI say when it's completely finished it'll be released on disc, that means patched to oblivion so you'll be waiting for a good few years, also, we're upto DVD's now my friend, most have ditched physical media all together.
why if you can download in minutes?
There is (so far at least) a plan to release on DVD. Like with rF1 it won't happen with the first post-beta version, there will be a time when it does though. Content might actually be the deciding factor as there are pieces of content likely to come in 2013 worthwhile holding the DVD for.
thats pretty disapointing, that means i dont get to drive the lola till 2013...
I've seen a couple of people mention Lola with us, though we haven't announced anything? So not sure where people got that from.
I heard recently that Lola might be in trouble, anyway, they might not be around by then.

ok ill settle with the Lotus
(not just a tiny little 60s or 70s sportscar? 917 or 512s lets say?)
I don't see any connection between that and 2013 though in that xmas card though, I guess I'm missing something.
