thanx for advice! I will change them![]()
Yarach, it would be great if you could explain me how to do it!
normal shadows look quite ugly..
The best mod where you can see and understand this technique would be the rFactor 1 mod F1 2008 by F1racingligue.
The technique is quite easy, you add a darker shade on the texture where two components come near each other, you simulate the "shadow" by (after the original texture is finished) adding a light black on that spot.
You can see the shade near the small spoiler on the left in this picture and at the springs. It is not much, but it gives the mod a professional look to it and way more depth and detail.

Yarach, thank you a lot but I'm not sure I've understood everything from what you are saying..
- darker shade on the texture? you mean I nead to modify my dds files in photoshop or material editor in 3ds max..?![]()
ok I will try!Thank you for your precious help!

UVW unwrap, add skylight, then render to texture.
Look for tutorials about ambient occlusion/dirt layer.
Once rendered it can be used as a base layer in your texture art.
Well, actually it's ready! However the sounds aren't from sesto elemento, even though, they are very similar to the S Elemento's ones.
Great sounds I think.
Can some one suggest me where can I get the engine sounds for Sesto Elemento?
Rtrscool said he would make them for me (from a youtube video) but he seems to be out somewhere right now..
the only problem I'm currently dealing with is the following message at loading screen:
SESTO_ELEMENTO_00ICON Cannot be a DXTn format.
I know it's only a car's picture, but I don't understand why do I get this message...
please help me with it! Except that, everything is ready for the beta release!
The Sesto Elemnto houses a v10 engine, the same as an Audi R8 LMS. The Sesto Elemento makes less revs.

I have also got the car sounds for you:

Good luck!
ah yes, and one more thing!
i'm trying to make a gt version of the car too, it would be even more important for a sim like rfactor2!
if everything is ok, the beta will be ready for tomorrow!![]()
Good news,thanks.
