    game not working with 20 AI with build 60. It doesn't crash like the 49 build but after loading the track and 20 AI cars I get 1-2fps in the garage and many of the textures not loading when I try to race...

    Specs:
    Intel i7, GTX560ti, 3 gig ram

    Installing to program files in win7 is not a great idea, win7 likes to stop you modifying these folders manually. Either install to a different location like C\GAMES\rfactor2, or install the data folder to my documents.

    D1, you shouldn't be modifying any files in that directory, that's why you have a CORE, and a DATA directory. The DATA directly is what you modify.

    The data directory, by default, is located in the Documents folder.

    online, when i watch other onboard, steering wheel and arms don't rotate. they are blocked.

    Well, I am stunned also and not just by the FPS. I have to tell, never experienced this before in RF1 or 2.

    Driving the F2 car over Mills in a race, I was followed by another F2 (driving against AI) and at the end of the straight;he pulls left, out of my slipstream, got on the brakes just a little later and made the corner nicely. Never been out braked by AI! ANd in such a nice and clean way.

    Okay, it sucks I got out braked and now I'm going for a refund, but its still worth mentioning

    Yeah, the AI are really good now. They were passing me at every opportunity.

    Very early impressions. 2xSLI (GTX 275) and triple monitor setup gives a solid 100 fps around Spa. HDR doesn't work... it forces display to one monitor and looks way too bright. Note that I've played wiht so many settings that I need to revert to a base configuration before giving real feedback.

    Bottom line is the way I use the sim (non-HDR and 3 montitor SLI) seems to be working great.

    I can't update to the new build. Copied the executable into /updates/ and tried to update through the launcher.

    It starts the update process build immidiately comes up with an error "cannot overwrite rfactor launcher.exe".

    Already tried to run both the launcher or executable in admin-mode ( windows 7 64bit )

    I also have the rF2 Install outside program files ( c:\rF2beta and c:\rF2beta_data )

    With Crossfire the 2nd Graphics card does not work, but the FPS with one graphics card is much higher than before.
    But every HW plugin unfortunately does stutter, more like a kind of slow motion, even though the frames themselves remain high.

    My plugins:
    SLI-Max-Manager: disturbs a little
    X-Sim plugin: disturbs a little more
    TFS3-plugin: disturbs most

    All plugins tested individually and in combination. Seems, that you have done something on the threads and the plug-ins have been affected. These 3 plugins made no problem in the 49 build, even in combination.

    I have 2 Nvidia GTX 560 TI OC graphics cards in SLI. With this update on a first test I have a similar fps with or without SLI. Anyway now I don't have performance problem

    Looking great now! Much smoother!

    I'm curious, though: what PostFX are actually implemented? I tried turning it off and on at Mills, took screenshots of each, but saw absolutely no difference between them. I laid them over the top of each other in Photoshop with a Difference blend mode on the top layer, and it's pretty much all black (meaning no difference).

    BEFORE UPDATE:

    - Settings on Medium / No FXAA / NO HDR ( GAME KEPT CRASHING IF ON ) / 1920x1080-32 - 30~50 MAX


    AFTER UPDATE

    - Settings on FULL / FXAA / HDR ON / 2X AA 1920x1080-32 - 95 ~125 MAX

    Amazinnnnnnnng job on the framerate issue!

    GFX EVGA GEFORCE GTX 560 / 4GB DDR2 / CORE 2 DUO @ 3,0 GHZ

    Keep it on ISI...

    From 50 frames to 60-70 frames at Spa now, very nice..
    Settings are almost all maxed out , 1920-1200
    I do notice that when people came into public server i got a little hickup while driving.
    That was not the case before the patch..

    is the launcher closing when the update starts?

    HDR options in dev mode are locked.
    I can load an existing profile and it works but I can not change anything.

    Is it temporary solution?
