    Blurring rotating wheels

    Hello.
    There is feature to blur rotating wheels. It is driven by event set in material.
    Is it possible to set rotation speed while textures are switching from one to another?

    I found strange behaviour: one wheel changes texture on other speed than other wheels.

    no one? Even ISI?
    Is it some kind of black box anyone wants to forget?

    Hmm interesting. Can you tell how I can set this blurring to appear (no need for full gMotor tutorial )? What settings I need for materials and so on? Ive been thinking of this feature for a while now but havent yet tested it.

    I don't know how to do it exactly and how to control it.
    I suspect it works for all materials on whell objects. Then if you set animation to be triggered by an event and set animation sequence (for example 0,1) then material will replace textures at some rotation speed. Textures must have added number to the name, for example:
    - base texture: rims.dds (needed only for 3d editors
    - rims00.dds - first texture
    - rims01.dds - second texture
    - rims02.dds - third texture
    textures suffixes must be prepared in relation to anim sequence.

    Have you tested the rate setting in the material settings? That one where you set the anim sequence etc. stuff?

    use Radial Blur in photoshop,

    rims.dds=No Blur,
    rims00.dds=15,
    rims01.dds=30,
    rims02.dds=No Blur

    yes there are 4 images.

    settings in 3dsimed

    Animation=IEvent
    sequence=210
    frequency=1

    this is what i use

    What is rims03 for since it's missing in animation sequence?
    BTW, with such naming convention, base material diffuse texture must be rims.dds
    Numbers are added to base name. At least it is how it works in all other animated materials

    i just checked and yes, i did have the naming incorrect. i used a set of rear tyres from a F1 mod (with permission) for my mod and these are the setting that were applied to the models, it works fine.
