If anyone asks, that sky is not a trick. Both Indy 500 package and Shader Pack 0.75a are available for download at our portal.
But of course you need time acceleration x60 and then watch replay in fast-forward to see stars move like this

As for modding version of shader pack - it's coming. Version 0.8 will come out with tools and examples, but I still have some work to do on tools.
