One more thing, I dont know if it has been told somewhere : will we have to buy a license to use the dedicated server or will it be licence-free like in rF1 ?

    Thanks for the time saver?

Thanks for the advance download of files. It is great to have these in advance.

This will be a time saver for when the time comes?

But nothing to really look at for the moment? We will have the files for when the exec is ready.

It would have been nice to be able to see inside!

regardless, it is a positive start and bodes well for 2012!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Yes, it's basically a way to spread the initial download frenzy out. Besides, for those that get the mods early, when the beta install is released they'll be able to quickly install the mods and drive without having to wait any longer.

    Thanks Scott

I am assuming that we will then be able to see inside and look at more detailed info on the cars?
Can you comment on whether there will be any data logging functionality with the beta? Or later?

    cheers

The remaining original rfactor 2 mods will be implemented in the development of open beta??. Or will we have to wait for the final version dvd??

    Thanks for the info

We will not only be updating the mods we're now releasing, but we'll also be releasing new mods both during the beta and beyond--lots of new stuff coming

Sure, they'll happily live next to each other without complaining, until you run out of disk space .
