rfmod files ? ha ha i hope this is not a joke what do we use to open rfmod files was it not better to get this as a exe ? after we pay the game ?

The exe opens/reads this files and runs the game. You have to wait for the exe file.
For now these are just files with content to pre-download, so you won't have to download it all during release day. You will just download exe and play.
That's pretty common these days.

This is a great way to get the files out there. Nothing worse than a new digital release and a 6 hour wait before you can use it.

I look forward to test rFactor 2, but I must say that lately, I'm pretty frustrated.
I do not question your work, far from it, but I think and if I may, there is an effort to make the level of your communication.

In the French community, more and more people do not even follow the news ISI, but why would you tell me?
Simply because of communication. As you know, other simulations are being developed, and compared their communications works much better.

So I'm not an expert, I think it mas an area for improvement if you do not want to frustrate people too.

I hope my comment will assist you, and you will improve to the point that everyone is aware of your work.

For the files available, I can look more closely at what other mod and track files, thanks

Ps: just add that example to try to make less news in half shade or uninteresting limit for the community and focus on the big news, even if the time between two news is great! (this is just a personal opinion)

Well.
This is ok,it will prevent overloads in servers when rf2 achive release day.
This is being a great end of 2011 for simracers and specially for rf users.
It was Historix 1.9 (great) ,rf2 finnaly saw the day light and endurace series sp2 is coming out aswell.
A great 2012 to all the simracing community and that we all meet in some virtual track around the globe.

The downloading is very fast here. 2.3 GB total size around with the 4 files and will be finished in 30 minutes. I see 150 to 200 seeds so far.
