LOL nice comeback:D
Some dreams come true
Think you should check your facts before posting BS .
Unless they test it first before release .:)
In a 60's F1 car bad down shifts should cause you to spin but in rF dropping from 5th to 3rd at 100% throttle with no clutch just makes the car slow down and it changes fast and cleanly . Don't need...
Would like to see a full transmission model , but I guess it will be a long time before it's done . At the moment it's like great physics , amazing tyre model , arcade shifting .
On page 64 no less :D
Good post Lazza
( damn fat finggered typing)
Comparisons make even less sense when you're trying to compare Sims that are very much unfinished and improving with each update .
Smoked or unsmoked ?
Just tried the Spark F1 ( and few others ) with much reduced camber and it feels so much better , really nice and fun to drive now . Not bothered with rF2 for a few weeks but think that will change...
I seem to have had the opposite experience always found it quite friendly , depends when you race and who you end up racing with I suppose .
Be nice when we get some oval racing in rF2 .
Why not some kind of opt in so that those who want the betas get notified and those not interested just get told about the main releases ? Could maybe be in the advanced tab of the launcher .
A dose of penicillin should do the trick:D
Helpful , thanks
I'll just have to remain curios then :)
What's the reason for the delay anyway ? just asking because I'm curios
Hope was the only thing left in Pandora's box all the bugs got out and have been delaying updates ever since .
Couldn't agree more :D
What I mean is that pCars and rF2 have different agendas . And we have no way to know what settings were used in that video or how it affected performance .
That pCars video is nearly 400 builds out of date and probably isn't that relevant to rF anyway .
I know when I had this problem it was easy to tell ,could red line the car in any gear with the peddle pushed less than half way down , and going flat out on a long straight if the peddle was full...
Try deleting the plr file and the controller.ini , that's what I did when I had this problem and it solved it , thought it was just the controller file that I deleted but just looked at my post from...
Think Alan Gow might have something to say if those cars get mod's .
Oh damn got beaten again , now I'm feeling blue :D
Yay , I guessed it right way back in April .
Look forwards to racing this should be fun :D
Try deleting your controller.ini then start rF and reassign your wheel and peddles , but whatever you do don't hit the detect button , don't know why but if I hit that I get the problem you have . (...
Have you tried the Real Head Motion plug in , works great .
" there is no spoon"
Just kidding , nothing wrong with consoles , they do have one massive advantage over PC's - they are all the same . PC's have so many options when it comes to things like GFX cards OS's , drivers etc...
Just ran your post though a profanity filter, please watch your language in future
OK got all that , now what ?
Are we going to get oil and water from damaged cars making the track slippery at some point ? and running of line to find a less rubbered in grippier line on a wet track would be a nice feature .
Quality beats quantity every time .
Still using an old CRT here - that's input lag ?:D
Thanks , nice
For me better graphics help the immersion factor and also help with the sense of speed .
Thanks for the fix , works fine now .Was planing to look in the registry tonight , glad didn't need poke around myself , quick place to screw things up .
Same as Stonec said here as well , View -...
Have he same problem . Manager was working fine then I changed one for the option in the menu ( don't know which one ) and now can't get it to start . Can't find a way to fix it .
Would also recommend deleting your PLR file so it gets rewritten with the updated lines
- Re-enabled wet skids
Trying to work out if this is good or bad :)
You do realise tomorrow never comes , don't you ?:)
+1 well said
Don't see a problem with new cars on old tracks , it just a bit of what if that track still existed fun .
Any way driving a F1 car on a any track is beyond the realms of realty for most people .
Spent many happy days watching some great racing at that track . Nice to see it coming to rF2
Someone that likes the Graphics more that the physics - WOW that doesn't happen often
There's a good chance many customers with have grown old and expired before we get a finished product :D
They got so drunk celebrating how good it is they forgot to release it :D
Need more AI options in the UI , would be nice to have another settings screen with the most useful options from the PLR .
