Thanks , nice
For me better graphics help the immersion factor and also help with the sense of speed .
Thanks for the fix , works fine now .Was planing to look in the registry tonight , glad didn't need poke around myself , quick place to screw things up .
Same as Stonec said here as well , View -...
Have he same problem . Manager was working fine then I changed one for the option in the menu ( don't know which one ) and now can't get it to start . Can't find a way to fix it .
Would also recommend deleting your PLR file so it gets rewritten with the updated lines
- Re-enabled wet skids
Trying to work out if this is good or bad :)
You do realise tomorrow never comes , don't you ?:)
+1 well said
Don't see a problem with new cars on old tracks , it just a bit of what if that track still existed fun .
Any way driving a F1 car on a any track is beyond the realms of realty for most people .
Spent many happy days watching some great racing at that track . Nice to see it coming to rF2
Someone that likes the Graphics more that the physics - WOW that doesn't happen often
There's a good chance many customers with have grown old and expired before we get a finished product :D
They got so drunk celebrating how good it is they forgot to release it :D
Need more AI options in the UI , would be nice to have another settings screen with the most useful options from the PLR .
Reinstalled using the lite version and will just be adding the components I want as they get released , seems a lot better that way .
Think that is a universal phenomenon on all forums.
And thank **** for spell checkers;)
I'm guessing it's Silverstone as it already been mentioned it's being done . And for the car I go with the Honda .
Great post but saying what is not great is great , lets the great people at ISI know what people want to be greater so we get a great sim and people are great for at pointing out what is not...
Never really seen the point the my sim better than your sim arguments , I'd rather just enjoy them all . But you always get people that like to trash "rival sims" hence you get "reviews" full of...
Read that review and had to wander what iRacing the guy was trying because it doesn't sound like the same one I play .
Try 107 overall effects strength in the logitec profiler and turn on centering spring but set it to 0 , should help .
Have iRacing , Pcars and rF2 , Like them all for different reasons . Iracing best tracks and online - Pcars is a great when you just want to race with out worrying to much about getting every input...
LOL - Never made the Pinochio connection before , was actually inspired by the lever on my toilets cistern .
Liking this build more each time I play , changes seem subtle defiantly feels better .
Frank good to see someone else here with blue skin:cool:
Cars seem a bit more predictable ( think that is something to do with controllers), Clio's don't seem to roll anymore , was hitting the curbs quite hard at Lime Rock and it behaved like I think it...
I just auto updated , but deleted my player file and controler.ini's just to be safe , seems to all work fine .
Seen so much rain where I live in the last few months that I play rF2 just so I can see some sun :)
Like the auto update nice and fast - seems I missed the problems that were around earlier .
It will never happen , some one will always complain:)
It's actually short for roundabout as it was originally going to an oval racing sim .
Gone from really hating the skippy to really liking it . Loads of fun once you get the hang of keeping it going in the right direction .
If I just played games on the computer I probably would try it but I use the computer for art and the big problem with LCD monitors is that a monitor that is good for art is bad for gamming and vice...
Think I'll stick with my trusty old CRT and keep waiting for OLED to arrive .
Easy fix for the sound
Turn all the sliders down to half of what they are now and turn up your speakers to compensate , should then have no more problem with the sound .
rF2 is a lot more satisfying to drive than pcars , pcars is fun for a while but somehow it doesn't make you want to drive , rF2 has something that keeps you coming back for more , it has a nice feel...
"I'll admit (although I'm not psychic) - I never had a single doubt that this sim would handle well. And it does indeed handle very well. That's quite a big understatement there, because this is...
Have that same ritual .
But it's not a calibration problem it seems to be caused by the pedals being plugged in thought a Leo Bodar box , all cars seem to behave in a random and unpredictable way ,...
Try this
Delete the profile you created , restart rF then set up your controllers again but don't use the detect button just assign each control as you want it and then set up the min & max settings...
I always use the handbrake to stop , but that normal for a motorbike .:D
Had that same problem with my G25 , the wires tend to brake were they connect with the sensor , just snip of the wire and reattach and it should work again .
+1 for the real clutch
Would be nice if the lobby showed a count down for race start and length of race , yes I want to do some practice first but it's helpful to now if I will have time to do the race .
Think your right with Virginia International Raceway , keep noticing them at that track in iRacing and thinking the same thing .
Just updated with the updater , worked perfectly and was reasonably quick . Time to go try it out .
It's not the size of your physics resolution that matters , it's what you do with it that counts .
After reading this thread I need a beer:)
Can't argue with that
The Clio's awesome on curbs now , can really get them up on two wheels .
Think that the program was called "The killing years "
Tried that , don't help , you still get paided the same . Lifes so unfair sob , now I depressed .:(
;)
