View Full Version : Turning objects on, on a per player basis.

I have 40 pit boxes but I don't want all of them to load all the time. I only want each one to load for the player that is connected. Like 'pdoor' only opens if a car is in that garage.
Is there a way to trigger this?

You can use either 'ptent' or 'pitbox', latter one works in race session only.

On the subject of pitboxes, is there way to have customised pitboxes for each team? I noticed in one of the indicar mods it has it's own pitboxes and it made me wonder.
In theory, you can customize pitboxes using PDOORxx object (or PITDOORxx object, I honestly can't remeber correct instance name... :)).
If you attach your customized objects (garage interior, pitwall tent, refueling station etc.) to PDOORxx object, then customized objects will appear to scene if garage is in use.
I'm not 100% sure about this, but it might work...

Thanks for the reply Jka, I'm a bit confused, I was under the impression that pdoor turns off when a player takes up that spot. I'll have a look into it.

pdoorxx turns off, ptentxx turns on. (I believe)
