That's something I was struggling already in rF 1 and it looks like nothing has changed in rF 2.
Car parts visible in spinner/showroom are aligned by how they were arranged in 3d scene. Also, having them wrapped with Instance tags in gen file does matter (but I never really figured out, what it does).
What I'd like to have, is rFactor using HDV setup default values to allocate car parts in spinner/showroom, just like it is when we are already on track/in garage. Such feature would save us from spending time doing an alternative "spinner-only" version of a car with rake/ride heights for body, camber and toes for wheels etc. just for spinner/showroom view.
